Kick@$$ Costume Contest (CLOSED!)

Update 10/27/12: Thank you for all your submissions, everyone! This was a much bigger turnout than the previous contest, and I can already tell it's going to be an even harder contest to judge. I'll be sending judging instructions to all the judges today, and we should have a winner by Halloween night.

If your submission isn't shown in the costume contest gallery, please send me a note and I'll fix it asap.

October is here, and Kick@$$ Mode turns one year old on the 31st! _{I'm still doing this shit?} That's right! I submitted the very first page on Halloween night, which works out perfectly for a 1 year anniversary contest theme~


Rules:
1. Draw the Kick@$$ characters dressed up for a night of fright!
2. Entries must contain at least 1 human character AND 1 pokemon character from the Kick@$$ universe.
3. Optional: Feel free to dress up your own nuzlocke character(s) and show them interacting with mine.

And that's basically it!

- Entries are due Friday, October 26.
- To submit your entries, send me a note with the subject line "costume contest".
- Entries will be judged on originality, creativity, and...all that other BS.
- Multiple submissions are allowed, but only one entry can win per artist.
- There is only one contest winner, but other artists can win in one of the following categories:

Most Terrifying
Most Hilarious
Most Original
Most Over The Top

- All winners get to have one of their characters cameo in Kick@$$ Mode!
- Contest winner gets to also request a colored drawing from me!

<sub>Where can I find color references?
Most of the pokemon get their color from the official Nintendo art, but for human characters, you can find color references in the Kick@$$ Art Gallery.

Can I draw a deceased pokemon / previous evolution / etc.?
So long as they existed in the Kick@$$ universe at one point, it's totally fine.

Do gijinkas count as humans or pokemon?
Gijinaks can count as both humans and pokemon (i.e. you can have a pic with 2 gijinkas--or a gijinka and a human/pokemon--so long as there are at least 2 Kick@$$ characters present).</sub>
